Status of women’s participation in agriculture in Bihar an analysis

India is a developing and predominately agrarian economy. India’s 70 percent population lives in rural areas, 60 of those households engage agriculture as their main source livelihood. Women play multidimensional role agriculture, contributing to every aspect industry from planting harvesting crops being active associated fields. Several women, are major producers food. only about 63 economically men work compared 78 women. It observed that women significant agricultural development allied activities including crop production, sector cattle management, dairying, beekeeping, goat-rearing mushroom production poultry, livestock horticulture, post-harvesting operations etc. About 70% farm performed by who primary agents. farmers do not have equal access productive resources this significantly limits potential enhancing productivity.
